We often talk about freedom as a gift given to ourselves to seek a way out of burdens. But what does it takes to free ourselves? We all have our insecurities and limiting beliefs. Everybody see the world with different perspectives according to our education, place we live, experiences and people we know… We all live in different realities with the things we focus on. External things are not relevant, this is what we feel in the inside that really matter.
The path to freedom begins from within.
Each step is a choice to release the weight of the past. It’s about alignment with your values and breathing in the present. Embracing the present and letting of any outcome.
The journey inward
Before I could change my life, I had to meet myself. The work starts from within in meeting doubts, fears, insecurities were part of my journey so far. Listening and understanding myself with who I am. We all face self-doubts at some points but how will be your perception of it? Constructive or destructive? Like the blue pill or the red pill? Your responsibility is yours!
The process is vital and sacred in connecting to your truth. This part of the journey is quiet and there’s no applause. That’s why I’ve learned to let go of expectations from other sources. Building a life of purpose is a noble and ambitious journey. Especially someone like me building a business on his own and making decisions according to my purpose and alignment. But do you know what? The deep knowing comes from within.
Since the last few mouths I’ve been working on myself inwardly. In order to face my insecurities regarding how can I help and inspire others for growth.
Experiences outside is the mirror of inside
Self-Discovery
Self-discovery is one of the most powerful and transformative journey a Human being can take. It’s about becoming someone new, it’s about remembering who you truly are beneath the layers. Like expectations, fears, trauma and conditioning. My authentic self expresses himself and convinced of my potential. Potential in delivering valuable coaching sessions, writing. But convinced I am destined to do much more than that. Like delivering workshops on high-performance and wellbeing as well as organising retreats. I’ve always wanted to be a tourist guide and have a tourism background. Self-Discovery is reclaiming your inner compass
My main background is commerce and sales. I chosen this field because I used to fear interactions with others. Learning sales helped me to overcome that complex. Now connecting with people is what I love and do best at work as well as outside of work.
Self-development is a vast and fast growing industry that encompasses and covers so many different areas. That’s why I’m so passionate about it and it’s for me becoming honest with myself and my true values. The fog is not a problem for me anymore and it’s part of the awakening. Your truth is found inside!
The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are (Carl Jung)

The journey has seasons
There are seasons in our lives, we constantly change our priorities. So it’s completely normal when we have too much to do. Many of us get caught in wanting to achieve more and sometimes all in one go. I’ve realised and came to the conclusion priorities change according to what matter to us the most. What’s the priority right now in order to move on?
- Winter- I focus myself more in training to energise me, as the the weather is not great and living the shortest days of the year. Winter is the best opportunity to plant seeds for new resolutions. It’s also a season that tests you consistency and discipline. I see Winter a season where to push hard in training no matter the weather. I’ve built muscle in pushing myself at the gym and seen results by Spring.
- Spring- Spring is when I start to feel a shift and I feel excited for the good days ahead. I feel proud of myself after gone through a Winter where kept myself healthy. Healthy, performant, engaged in everything I do. It starts to get busy so I spend more time chatting and creating connections with customers. I feel a hunger to grow, to explore new ideas. This year I prioritised family in visiting them.
- Summer- As the mid year is here I take time to reflect on progress I’ve made. I spend more time reading, keep showing up to the gym but less intense. I run outdoor and this year I spend more time in saunas and steam rooms. I work more on my coaching than writing. Because the beginning of the journey is the hardest. Momentum has to be built in entering the new.
- Autumn- Autumn 2023 is when I really started my self-improvement journey. Some old beliefs fell away. I’ve realised growth means loss but more like a release. Questioning and self-doubts led me to who I am today in 2024. Never be scared of facing your doubts or questioning yourself. They are opportunities to redirect you constructively to better actions according to your real values.
No season is better than another. Each has its purpose. You don’t need to rush through any of them. Personal development is not a race. It’s a lifelong unfolding. Trust your season. Trust your rhythm. You are exactly where you need to be.
Final words
The path to freedom is reclaiming your power. Letting go of expectations and taking aligned steps with your purpose. It’s knowing who we are deep inside us. It’s also about protecting your inner peace from external events. Freedom isn’t found in faraway places or in someone’s definition of success. It begins the moment you turn inward. The moment you ask yourself “What do I truly want?”
You become your own compass, you become your own sanctuary.
The more you let go, the more you bring energy back. Start to live by the values you choose over people’s validation or expectations.
As you loose yourself in a cause that is bigger than you, you will not only find your greatest self but illuminate the world in the process. (Robin Sharma)
You don’t find freedom, you become it.
