We have countless thoughts everyday whether negative or positive. It’s very easy to let ourselves embarked and drifting away aimlessly leading us unfocused or not enthusiastic. Even letting us caught in an endless circle of negativity with negative self talks. Like a snowball effect negative self talks lead to negativity and caught with negative circumstances around us. Most people are on autopilot mod which means they put energy on whichever thoughts or situation pops up. The more you give attention to your thoughts the more energy you put and printed into your subconscious mind. We are in a world of distractions and entertainment. They dictate the way people should think and believe. The message of what society tells us is seeking immediate pleasure. But in reality it’s not the way it should be. Distractions make us leading astray far from people who’ve set themselves goals.
Morning rituals
My morning rituals are very important because it’s the most important moment of the day. They are my obsession regarding to the empowerment this brings to me. Meditation is one of my rituals. But the most important and the most exciting is when I wake up. Positive affirmations is the first thing I do when I wake up before grabbing my phone. Sometimes we wake up with negative thoughts without any explanation. The moment we wake up is key to change that. Positive self talks are part of my daily life everyday. So doing so in the morning influences my day and inspire me and empower me towards the path I’ve chosen for my future life. Positive self talks and affirmations brings motivation and influences the way I feel throughout the day. Affirmations and positive self talks influences feelings. Even just the fact of listening to positive affirmations changes the way we feel when fully putting our attention on them.
Example of positive affirmations
- I welcome abundance everyday
- Opportunities are coming to me
- I hold myself to high standards
- I am free
- Success is my birth right
- Positivity is my natural state of being
- I am successful in everything I do
- I am a magnet for prosperity
- I am wealthy
- I am healthy
- Today is an amazing day
- I am destined for greatness
- I see the good in every situation
- I am enough
Affirmations in my journaling
My morning journaling is another way to affirm and express my joy for the new day ahead. I express my gratitude while affirming my state of being. Journaling can be a way to express your feelings to feel better. But I use it by assuming the person I want to become. The law of assumption introduced my Neville Goddard is one of my inspirations. I assume with both affirmations and journaling how the future will show up to me. Whatever you assume as true becomes your reality he said. Both with a combination of gratitude. Overall this routine makes me to flourish everyday and leads me towards my desired outcome. They are not just merely affirmation without taking actions. Actions have to be taken everyday towards our future selves. Positive affirmations create positive thoughts. Thoughts lead to feelings, feelings leads to actions and actions leads towards our realities.
“If you are grateful, I will certainly give you more (Quran 14:7)
