January Blues

The start of the year can be challenging for many of us. Sometimes referred as January blues or a specific day called blues Monday. Especially in the UK we are in the shortest days of the year and the festive season has passed. So for me I found it interesting to face this period in implementing a daily routine.

In order to keep myself fit while going through this period. I laid up foundations since the last Autumn and took resolutions by going to the gym twice and week and swimming ounce a week. Keeping up in this period of the year is key before reaching the warm season. I’ve set myself goals during the year 2023 because I know that having goals makes me happy. It gives me a direction to follow. I know where I am going. This is what I did. Taking resolutions before the start of January 2024.

Taking vitamins and magnesium supplements are very helpful in keeping myself in a good mood and avoid me fatigue and low energy especially on January. Many people struggle with low energy during the Winter in the UK because lack of Sun means lack of vitamins from it. Vitamins D are the sunshine Vitamins through UV radiations which makes us tanning in the summer. My gym routine and swimming helps me to cope during this time of year. So I said to people I don’t see January Blues or Blues Monday. Not focusing on it keeps me going in my journey and rather embracing it.

I consider January not just the start of the year but also a keep period in our adventures toward our goals. Remaining healthy, fit and well will play a role in our favour later on during the year.

At the beginning of the winter season I found the benefits of taking ginger shots. We can buy them at most supermarkets in the UK. Taking it in the morning provide a boost for the body for the day ahead. It contains potassium, magnesium, calcium and magnesium. It provides immunity defence and also an antioxidant that cleanses the liver, anti-inflammatory, aiding digestion and fighting-cancer properties. My first gulp of the day I do it with Oshee vitamins water with lemon and orange. I randomly discovered it at the supermarket. I told myself since I’ve implemented healthy habits “this drink is for me!” It contains magnesium as well with vitamins and minerals. The drink is low with calories and has benefits for the whole body in general.

After January

After January I started to feel the effects of my actions taken. As I’ve made progress on my projects, and being less distracted by my environment. I am more focused on my goals and what I really want in my life. And telling myself I can face all winter seasons every year from now on.
