During March 2025 I did a coach training to become a life coach. There’s so many things I’ve learned I will mention in this post. I really enjoyed this great opportunity and discovered so many things about myself and my approach with relationships. Also how to generate insights, inspirations, awareness for people to get clarity regarding action taking. This was so interesting and fun and got qualifications at the end of the course. I’m so excited and enthusiastic about my journey because I really discovered within myself that is something I’ve always wanted to do.
This was indeed the APC (Accredited performance coach) from 2blimitless. A coaching organisation who works with individuals and companies to maximise their potential, to help them to grow by coaching teams and leaders. It’s also a strength based organisation which consists on focusing on what’s right with people rather on what’s wrong. In order to maximise wellbeing and performance not just in the workplace but in all areas of their lives. 2blimitless is community and connections orientated where I’ve met incredible people I’ve found such high quality of people I want to surround myself with. That is why I’ve never miss the opportunity to attend community events in London. I will never forget the experience of the APC.
Time of reflection
I’ve had a long period of time reflecting and questioning myself about what I could do for my professional career. This led me to explore deep while journaling when I face period of indecision or doubt. However I call this kind of period “time of reflection” because I explore the positive side of it. I ask myself these questions. What can I learn? Where is it leading me to? What opportunity can I take in these period? I see the good in these times we all face in our lives one day or another. I relied of my journaling during this period to dig deeper in my mind to explore what’s really going on in my head.

A sense of gratitude for all kind of opportunities I face. I discovered within myself that I could become a life coach. Helping people to improve any area of their lives leading to more engagement in their activities like work or project. Helping them to reach their goal and inspiring them. Because the reason behind this is I love making great connections with people as I’m working in hospitality.
Synchronicities
I obviously targeted the coach training at 2blimitless the APC. I of course explored few other options and to be honest with you I felt nervous about which of these options to choose from. Which one is the best for me? Which one is worth it? How I’m gonna pay for this kind of training? I started to feel emotions but continued to believe this gonna happen and decided to let it go of all these. This is when the magic started to manifest.
On an early morning after been for a swim I jumped on the bus 37 on the way to Southfields to the coffee shop. I was thinking about any other options for a coach training for me and stopped thinking about the APC. My bus was following a row of car and surprisingly the first car at the front had it license plate number ending by APC! This left me completely gobsmacked and baffle so I understood at this moment this is a sign! I felt grateful for this synchronicity and was so happy and excited.

The next day I enjoyed some time off so I created space in my day off to go for a stroll at Battersea power station. So many different shops, restaurants and been there many times and forgot all about the coach training options. I was so detach that I bumped into a shop I’ve never seen or heard about. A clothes and fashion shop I never knew it was there. A shop called APC! I felt even more grateful and I told myself no way! I knew deeply within myself the APC was the option I was heading to. Googled this one to see what it meant and it’s in French (Atelier de production et de creation).

Letting go!
I was still feeling some stress within myself regarding the how and when or with who I would do the training. To avoid paying intention to certain thoughts I simply decided to completely let go. In order to be in peace with myself I freed myself from any expectations from situations to happen or arise. This helped me to clear my mind and to be aligned with my purpose and what I really want to do in my life. The horizon began to clear and the miracle happened when 2blimitless offered me a sponsorship for the APC training for March! I knew and was convinced myself this was my destination after a long period of uncertainties since the end of 2024.
When I heard the news I was at work as usual and felt peaceful serving my regular customers who I love connecting with. I literally cried when I learned I would get a spot for the APC. I went downstairs to sit down and telling myself this is my moment. The moment to start making things happen after laying the foundations in 2023/2024 with of course my early morning wake ups, gym, writing bog posts, learning, reading, podcasts…
Let’s rock and roll!
So here we are on the first day of the APC coach training! Before the start of the course I was a bit nervous with a bit of apprehension as well. But my inner talks were saying it’s worth getting out of your comfort zone. Because nothing will happen in my current comfort zone. My comfort zone is something I do my best to go beyond from by stretching myself with exercise and cold showers early in the morning. On the first day I was so happy for the fun and the people I’ve met. I’ve learned about the self determination theory and the drama triangle which are quite complex psychological frameworks but helped me for a deeper understanding of psychology. But the most important qualities I’ve developed are to be curious and have fun.
The whole course sessions during March were fun and full of golden nuggets. And I was so happy to be learning new skills with such an amazing group. I am now deeply inspired by some of the golden nuggets such as. People are mysteries to explore not puzzles to be solved. Also When you turn your advice off you become an amazing adviser and much more!

Life coaching consists of asking questions in order to navigate the conversation to explore what’s within the person. Questions to help the coachee to gain awareness as well as to generate insights and ideas. Helping people in taking actions to improve any of the aspects of their life for wellbeing and performance or health and even fitness. Leading to more engagement at work for productivity but also for any goal or outcome the client wish to achieve.
What I’ve learned about myself for my journey
I want to mention here some of the things I’ve learned about myself. Because my self development journey is also about self discovery. I sometimes feel guilty of being introvert and not taking part in conversations that much. But being a coach led me to understand that active listening is key. Also you have to let your client do most of the talking and as a coach I have to ask questions to dig deeper. Digging deeper and deeper to help clients to get insights for any end results they want to make happen. In this way it can also be very simple things in life they want to maximize. The coachees are responsible of their own actions they will take. It’s never about the coach.
We have two ears and one mouth, therefore we should listen twice as much as we speak (Zenon of Citium)
I myself really love meaningful, deep and great connections with people. I understood that this is what I really want to do as a fulltime activity aside of blogging. Helping people to be at their best like posting blogposts or coaching make me the happiest and the most fulfilled man in the world.

I also learned about the psychological aspect in noticing how people show up and how to adapt. In coaching we don’t give advice but we can share observations or insights. So I adapt to all people from every walks of life. From any industries or backgrounds.
I’m more curious about people as I embodied a coaching mindset. I ask more questions to people not necessarily to coach them but to simply to get to know them. By doing so I’ve realised I am the true leader of the conversations when they do most of the talking.
True happiness is to enjoy the present moment
To conclude the most valuable thing I’ve learned is to be more aware of my thoughts. What I mean by that is to accept my thoughts without judgment and not paying attention to them. It can be apprehension or excitement and I had a feeling of both and I’ve learned to manage these feeling by letting go. Waiting peacefully and surrendering myself to the process. I completely trusted and not being attached to how things will happen.
During the courses I was filled with excitement and joy of being in such momentum. So excited for my perspectives as a coach. So excited that I sometimes even struggled to sleep before the course. But caught up the sleep later on during the day. What I want to explain here is despite so happy and excited this can increase you adrenaline and leading to a rise of cortisol level. Leading to poor sleep on top of that. So that’s why in the afternoons I completely let go and chill. To end this post l want to share a beautiful quote from Seneca.
True happiness is to enjoy the present, without anxious dependence upon the future, not to amuse ourselves with either hopes or fears but to rest satisfied with what we have, which is sufficient, for he that is so wants nothing.
